The Active Twitter Users differ between the tweets collected for gun control support and gun rights collections in volume and status. For example, there are more active twitter users tweeting their about gun rights than gun control. Also, the active twitter users who support gun control come from a political background, such as Sadiq Khan who is active in British politics. He recently outlawed the carrying of knives in the UK, so he is clearly a significant figure on the political side of all weaponry regulations. The users who favor gun rights are primarily comprised of insignificant, smaller accounts that are mixed in to periodicals like TIME magazine.

The visualizations for mentioned users highlight the similarities between the support of gun control and gun rights tweet collections. Both visualizations include mentioned users like CNN and youtube, in addition to notable figures within this debate like David Hogg and Dan Bidondi. 

Favorite and Retweet Count By Languages For Support of Gun Control and Gun Rights

The above visualization compares the amount of favorites and retweets for each language in the collection of tweets that support gun control collection. The highest average amount of favorites and retweets were for English tweets. This is also similar to the visualization below that shows the retweets and favorites by language of the tweets collected for gun rights. Undefined language had the highest average amount of favorites and retweets, but English was the second highest amount. 

Popular Hashtags for Gun Control and Gun Rights

The two visualizations above compare the most popular hashtags for the gun control and gun rights tweet collections. The most common hashtag for the tweets about gun control was Florida, which is significant because a shooting recently took place there. Having that as the most common hashtag likely means that an important part of the support of gun control is preventing future events reminiscent of the shooting in Florida. On the gun rights side, the MAGA hashtag is one of the most common ones, which has a connection to support for President Trump who is a Republican. This ties gun rights and being a Republican closer together. People who support gun control are also likely to be Republicans, according to this twitter collection.
